Yunus Jaleh made this statement at a meeting of the government-private sector dialogue council held with the participation of the head of the country's Tax Affairs Organization.

"The only sector that invests in East Azerbaijan is the private sector, and we do not have enterprises like Mubaraka Steel (Isfahan), and the Sungun mine that we own is at the service of Kerman. Moreover, ninety percent of the private sector is not satisfied with the activities of the Tax Affairs Organization," he said.

Varzaghan's Sungun copper mine is the largest copper mine in the Middle East, and 60 percent of Iran's copper production is covered by this mine. Although the regime extracts copper from Azerbaijan, it carries out the separation of ore from the soil not in Azerbaijan, but in distant Kerman. As a result, Azerbaijan continues to remain a raw material base, but industrialization in the Persian-speaking regions of the country develops due to the raw materials obtained from Azerbaijan.
