Human rights organizations have released information about this.

According to the information, security officers raided Maqsudi's house, searched the house, and confiscated a number of personal belongings before arresting the Azerbaijani activist.

There was no information about where he was taken or what charges he was charged with.

It should be noted that although more than 300,000 Baha'is currently live in Iran, the Iranian Constitution does not officially recognize the Baha'i faith.

According to a decision by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution of Iran, members of the Baha'i faith are considered stateless persons in the country.
