Water will be transferred from the Gulf to Tehran

A project to transfer water from the Gulf to Tehran is being proposed while water crisis in Azerbaijan has reached a worrying stage.

Gunaz TV reports, citing official media reports, that the Presidential Representative for Maritime Development Affairs announced that a huge project to transfer water from the Gulf to Tehran, which is more than a thousand kilometers long, has been completed by local specialists.

It should be noted that the regime had previously implemented a similar project for Isfahan.

Although the provinces of East and West Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Hamadan, Qazvin and Zanjan in South Azerbaijan are facing a serious water crisis, the government is spending all the country's funds only on the development of Persian regions. As if this were not enough, Lake Urmia, the largest lake in the country, has completely dried up as a result of the regime's inefficient agricultural, irrigation and infrastructure policies. Although the regime is extensively using the underground resources of South Azerbaijan, it spends all the income obtained from it as investment in other regions. This once again proves that the Iranian regime sees South Azerbaijan not as a part of its country, but as a colonial territory.
