A "red alert" has been declared in the city of Tabriz due to increased air pollution levels.
According to the report, the air pollution level in the city is dangerous for all age groups, with a level of 235 micrograms/cubic meter.
Residents, especially those belonging to the vulnerable age group, have been asked not to go outdoors:
"People with heart or lung disease, the elderly and children should not go outdoors, and other people should reduce prolonged outdoor activities."
It should be noted that the main cause of air pollution is the large number of unusable and old cars, as well as the use of diesel fuel at the Tabriz Thermal Power Plant.
