Javad Ganjani, 39, was reportedly killed during street protests in Tehran's Sadeghieh district on Friday, January 9.

Javad Ganjani reportedly came under direct fire from government forces during the protests and died at the scene.

Javad Ganjani worked as a director and assistant director in the film and television industry, worked for many years in the directing and planning teams of various film and television projects, and was known as a professional behind-the-scenes worker.

It should be noted that videos broadcast from Tehran's Kahrizak forensic medical examination building show hundreds of bodies piled up, as well as numerous people speaking Turkish as they search for the bodies of their loved ones. These images show that a significant portion of those killed during the suppression of the protests were citizens of Turkic origin.
