90 people arrested in Zanjan

After the protests in Iran stopped, large-scale arrests are being carried out in all regions.

Human rights organizations reported this.

According to the information, on January 22, another 305 people were detained in several cities.

90 of those detained are Azerbaijanis and were arrested by security officers of the IRGC headquarters in Zanjan province.

Iranian television claimed that the detainees were organizers of the protests, that they "destroyed state and public property", and that they were "affiliated with monarchist and terrorist groups".

It should be noted that although 26,852 people have been arrested since the start of the protests, the real number is likely to be higher.
