The opening paragraph describes this scenario as "spreading the flames of war to all of Washington's allies in West Asia" and emphasizes that Israel's dependence on Azerbaijani oil has increased significantly.
The report further states that the transportation of Azerbaijani oil to Turkey via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and its subsequent delivery to Israeli ports makes the country a prime target for Iran.
The media outlet also claims that the Israeli Air Force's access to bases near Iranian borders, whether for "espionage and surveillance operations" or for possible attack scenarios, is another factor that could make Azerbaijan a target for Iranian attacks.
"Tehran's message to Baku, Ankara and other regional capitals is clear: in the event of any attack, there will be no distinction between the main actor and regional intermediaries, and crossing the red line will be costly." - the report said.
