Nearly a month has passed since the bloody suppression of street protests in various cities of Iran, yet the families of Azerbaijani political prisoners have still not been able to establish any contact with their loved ones or receive any official information about their condition.

This lack of information has led to a sharp increase in concerns about the safety, physical condition, and conditions of prisoners.

Families of some Azerbaijani political prisoners imprisoned in Evin Prison and Tabriz Central Prison have appealed to judicial authorities and prison officials regarding the condition of their loved ones, but each time they have been met with the response that "no meetings or contact will be held until further notice."

Prisoners' right to make phone calls has been completely abolished, and no specific date has been announced for the restoration of this right.
