I have instructed that the names of all prisoners who have any connection to security issues be removed from the pardon list.
This was stated by the head of the Iranian judiciary, Gholamhossein Mohsuni Ejei.
According to him, those detained during the protests will not be included in the annual amnesty programs held on the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
"Those accused or convicted in connection with the recent protests will also not be included in the amnesty list planned for February 11," Ejei noted.
It should be noted that more than 50,000 people were arrested during and after the protests that began on December 28 last year and lasted for 3 weeks.
