Another victim of the regime - Ali Jafari

Ali Jafari was killed by regime forces on January 9, 2026, during protests in the city of Sayingala, Zanjan province.

A friend of the deceased, who gave an interview to the media, said that he knew who killed him.

Ali Jafari, born in 1994, previously worked for the Parchin Sayin Gala company and was fired after protesting to protect his and other employees' rights.

In recent months, he had been trying to make a living by borrowing from family and friends and buying and selling used cars to make ends meet.

He was married and had two young daughters, aged one and three.

According to reports, Ali Jafari was shot and died at the scene a few hours after participating in the protests. However, security forces refused to hand over his body to his family for two days.

His body was handed over to his family on January 12 after they agreed not to hold a funeral.
