Hamid Mehrabkhani arrested in Tabriz

Hamid Mehrabkhani, a member of the Baha'i faith, was arrested in Tabriz on February 18.

According to reports, security forces entered the house of his sister, Jala Mehrabkhani, and arrested Hamid Mehrabkhani that day.

He lives in the city of Qazvin and was visiting his sister at the time of his arrest.

During the operation, officers reportedly searched Jala Mehrabkhani's house and confiscated a number of electronic devices, including a mobile phone and a laptop, belonging to him and his wife.

No official information was released at the time of publication regarding the reason for his detention or the charges against him.
