Iran wants to use children as human shields

The US's large military buildup in the region and the increasing possibility of an attack on Iran have alarmed the Tehran government, and officials have begun to consider possible options to prevent or delay it.

One such option is the attempt to use civilians, students, and schoolchildren as human shields.

In a statement, the Iranian Ministry of Education issued an order for all educational institutions to operate uninterruptedly until March 20 (Isfand 29).

According to the statement, universities, schools, and even kindergartens must remain open until the specified period, and all educational staff and students must be present at educational institutions every day.

It was warned that those who skip classes will not be allowed to take exams.

During the Iran-Iraq war, when Iraq responded to Iranian missile and air strikes, the Tehran regime used a similar method.

The Tehran government, which produces ammunition on the university grounds, did not allow students to leave university, so Iraq bombed the university as a military target, resulting in 22 students losing their lives and 8 others being injured.

According to some suspicions, the Iranian government's resorting to a similar option now may also be part of a planned counter-propaganda operation against America.

Thus, as has been practiced before, the regime could target several schools, claim that this was an American attack, and launch a campaign against Washington.
