36 prisoners executed in Iran this week

Although they are accused of drug trafficking and murder, human rights organizations say that there is a possibility that some of them participated in protests.

Thus, since the beginning of this year, more than 400 people have been executed in Iran.

This is 3.5 times more than the same period last year, and 6.5 times more than the same period two years ago.

It should be noted that 2,063 people were executed in Iranian prisons last year, which is the highest number of executions in the last 30 years.
