The car of Abbas Beygdeli, a member of the Iranian parliament from the Takistan district of Qazvin province, was shot at.

Local sources reported this.

It was reported that the shot fired from the shotgun was unsuccessful and the MP survived the incident.

Although unofficial reports indicate that the shooters fled the scene, the Qazvin Prosecutor's Office stated that the incident was not of a terrorist nature and that two conspirators were arrested.

It should be noted that Beygdeli belongs to the hard-line movement led by Ali Khamenei and is known as a politician who opposes negotiations with the West.
