Another protester executed in Iran

A prisoner named Ali Fahim, who was arrested during the January protests, was executed this morning. This was reported by Iran’s judiciary.

He had been accused of setting fire to a Basij unit facility in Tehran during the demonstrations.

It was also reported that another prisoner, Abolfazl Salehi Siyavoshani, who was convicted on the same charges, has been transferred from the general ward of Karaj’s Ghezel Hesar prison to an unknown location for execution.

Notably, Ali Fahim is the fourth person executed on charges of burning a Basij facility.
