Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that Tehran remains committed to keeping its nuclear achievements within the country.

“At no point in the ongoing or previous talks has there been any discussion about handing over Iran’s enriched uranium to the United States or any other nation,” he said.

“Our land is as sacred as our uranium,” he said, emphasizing that national assets should be valued as highly as the lives of the country’s citizens.

He added that Iran’s nuclear program is the product of years of domestic scientific work and will not be given up.

Baghaei concluded by saying that Iran will continue to preserve and protect its nuclear capabilities.
