This was reported by local sources.
According to the reports, the incident took place on May 12 at a checkpoint in Bonab city.
It was stated that Basij forces opened fire on Ehsan Shirkhani, who was approaching the checkpoint in his personal vehicle, without prior warning.
Official state authorities have not issued a statement regarding the incident.
