Azerbaijani philanthropists secured the release of hundreds of prisoners

Over the past year, 1,200 prisoners held in prisons in Iran’s West Azerbaijan province for non-intentional crimes have been released.

It was stated that the prisoners’ release was made possible through the financial support of Azerbaijani philanthropists.

The philanthropists helped these individuals reunite with their families by paying off their debts and fines related to obligations owed to banks, individuals, and state institutions, among other similar reasons.
