Bahram Ibrahimpur was summoned to the judiciary of Ajabshir city to provide explanations regarding various charges and his previous case.
According to local sources, he was detained without any explanation following a decision by Judge Mohammad Jabari, head of the Revolutionary Court of Ajabshir, and transferred to Maragheh prison.
The Azerbaijani activist was also previously detained by security forces during the January protests and taken to Maragheh prison. He was temporarily released a few days later on a bail of 1.5 billion tomans.
It should be noted that he had previously been sentenced to one year in prison on charges of “propaganda against the system,” “spreading false information,” and “contact with opposition groups.”
