Suri Babai Chegini, a Qazvin-based activist currently in prison, and her husband, Mohammadreza Morad Behrouzi, have been summoned to Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office.
This was reported by their relatives.
According to the summons sent to them, they have been ordered to appear before the mentioned branch of the prosecutor's office within five days.
The activists have been accused of “sending videos, photos, and information to networks, media outlets, social media platforms, or foreign channels in a manner contrary to national security,” as well as engaging in “operational and intelligence activities against national security on behalf of Israel, enemy states, hostile groups, or any entity affiliated with them.”
It should be noted that Suri Babai Chegini was arrested during a protest on January 6 and was sentenced to three years in prison on charges of “insulting the Supreme Leader” and “spreading propaganda against the government.”
