So far, 3,292 people have been arrested under the “Law on Intensifying Punishments for Cooperation with Hostile States,” and 1,061 indictments have been issued in connection with the case.
This was stated by Asghar Jahangir, spokesperson for Iran’s judiciary.
He said that among those detained, 684 people were involved in operational activities in favor of Israel, 657 had engaged in economic, financial, or technological cooperation, 201 had directly cooperated with or assisted Israel, and 1,258 were involved in political, propaganda, or media-related activities.
Jahangir also noted that the assets and properties of many of these individuals have been identified for confiscation, and efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining assets.
