The information was reported by human rights organizations.

According to the reports, he was accused of "inciting people to war and bloodshed."

The ruling states that, based on a report by the East Azerbaijan Intelligence Department, the defendant's statements, and other case documents, the court changed the original charge of "propaganda against the system" to "inciting people to war and bloodshed." It then sentenced him to one year in prison under Article 512 of the Islamic Penal Code. The sentence will be served in the form of one year of movement restriction under electronic monitoring (an electronic ankle bracelet).

In another part of the case, the court found insufficient evidence to support the charge of "assembly and collusion to commit crimes against national security." Citing the principle of the presumption of innocence, it acquitted Amanzadeh of that charge.
