At least 816 prisoners have been executed in Iranian prisons since the beginning of 2026.
This was reported by the Abdorrahman Boroumand Center, a Norway-based human rights organization.
The organization noted that the actual number of executions is likely higher, as the Iranian government carries out many executions in secret and does not publicly disclose them.
