National activists Rza Salimi, Amin Taghizadeh, and Samed Heydari, who are being held at Tabriz Prison, have been transferred to Ward 15 of the prison.
Local sources reported the development.
The transfer is reportedly being used as a means of exerting pressure on the activists.
Ward 15 of Tabriz Prison reportedly houses drug users and drug dealers.
It should be noted that Samed Heydari, Amin Taghizadeh, and Rza Salimi have been sentenced to a combined 12 years and 9 months in prison on charges of “colluding against national security” and “propaganda against the government.”
