The journalist himself announced the decision.

“I, Mehdi Ahmadi, went to the prosecutor’s office on August 15 and 16, following a summons, to review the charges against me. Although legal action was taken against me on charges of spreading false information, I was released on bail based on a judicial decision. However, until a further decision is issued, I have been banned from publishing any interviews on the ‘Azad’ media outlet,” he said on his social media account.

Iran’s judiciary-affiliated Mizan news agency reported that a criminal case had been opened against individuals involved in producing and broadcasting the program, alleging that they had committed “multiple media violations.”

The program, which has now been banned from broadcasting, discussed Iran’s current political and social situation and criticized the policies of the authorities.
