National activist Milad Balsini, who lives in Tabriz, was arrested on August 18.
Human rights organizations reported the arrest.
According to the reports, Balsini was detained after appearing at Branch 15 of the Tabriz Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in response to a previous summons.
He has been accused of “propaganda against the government” and of “sending films, photographs and information to foreign and enemy media outlets and social media channels in violation of national security.”
His current whereabouts have not been disclosed.
It should be noted that on August 12, 2025, security forces raided Milad Balsini’s home, conducted a search, assaulted him and confiscated his belongings, including personal documents, a phone, a computer and other items.
From August 12 to September 30, 2025, he was interrogated four times in Room 37 of the Tabriz Intelligence Department and was reportedly subjected to insults, threats and physical violence.
