Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday condemned recent attacks by Iran-backed Houthi rebels on airports in Saudi Arabia’s Jizan and Najran cities, as well as an attempted attack targeting Mecca and an attack on Medina.

Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday condemned recent attacks by Iran-backed Houthi rebels on airports in Saudi Arabia’s Jizan and Najran cities, as well as an attempted attack targeting Mecca and an attack on Medina.
According to the state-run SABA news agency, the ministry condemned the attacks, describing any threat to Saudi Arabia’s security and civilian infrastructure as unacceptable.
According to Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation, three people sustained minor injuries and material damage was reported following attacks on King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jizan and Najran International Airport.
The Houthis said on Monday that they had carried out attacks against a number of targets in Saudi Arabia, including airports and military facilities. The group also warned international airlines operating in Saudi Arabian airspace.
