Thus, while there are 3 nurses worldwide for every 1000 people of the country, this number in Iran is 1.5 nurses. According to the statistics, this index indicates that along with the problem with the shortage of nursing staff, the people in Iran can’t get enough medical support.

That number is 18 nurses for 1000 people in Norway, 14 nurses for 1000 people in Germany and 12 nurses for 1000 people in the US.

On the other hand, it was determined that general Health Index of Iran is not promising either.

According to the research, the General Health Index is 70-80 percent for Western European countries, 70 percent for Turkey, and 53 percent for Iran.

It should also be noted that Iran's Deputy Health Minister, Saeed Karimi said some time ago: "The health index in Iran is not so different from Europe. We have investigated this issue based on international reports."
