The leader of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, Khalid Batarfi, has died.
The information was released from the “Site” group, which operates in the field of information and security of the United States of America.
In the information it was stated that, the new leader of Al-Qaeda in Arabian Peninsula after the death of former leader, is Saad bin Atef al-Awlaki.
The video showed Batrafi's body covered with a flag bearing the name and emblem of al-Qaeda.
The details of 40-year-old Khalid Batarifi’s cause of death have not been released.
