The Government of Iran took another step in its activities and propaganda against Azerbaijan.
In continuation of the Tehran Government's actions to create a religious and national conflict in Azerbaijan, a conference on "Talysh in the mirror of Iranian culture and history" was held on March 10 at the “Azad Islamic” University of Rasht.
Boris Talyshinsky, who is called the "follower" of the so-called "head of the Talysh-Mugan Republic" Alikram Khumbatov, spoke at the conference held at the initiative of the Iranian government and anti-Azerbaijani centers.
Ahmet Kazemi, Abulfazl Beheshti, Mohammad Rzayati and other anti-Azerbaijani people and representatives of pan-Iranist trend made speeches at the event.
They claimed that the Talyshis are Iranians and Iran is the homeland of Talyshis.
Despite the provocative propaganda of Iran Talyshis living in the Republic of Azerbaijan benefits from current rights along with other peoples.
While there are publications and textbooks of various nations in Azerbaijan, including Talyshis in their native languages, Talyshis living in Iran do not have such rights.
