The Prosecutor of the city of Tabriz demanded maximum punishment for Karim Isamyilzadeh, also known as southern national-cultural activist Boksor Karim.
Prosecutor Mahbub Alilu sent a 4-page indictment and asked the 2nd Division of the Court of Appeals to impose the most severe punishment against the activist.
it is important to note that, Karim Isamyilzadeh’s activities are completely in accordance with the Constitution of Iran.
The activist launched “Unity for Urmu and Araz” campaign on social media while Urmu was in a terrible state and Armenia was polluting Araz with radioactive waste.
He was sentenced to 6 months in prison on March 6 for his legal activities.
As 6 months in prison was not enough for totally legal activity, the prosecutor of Tabriz demanded the maximum punishment.
