Local activists and residents shared about it on social media.

Residents of Zaviyeh-e Hasan Khan village, which has 800 families, expressed concern about a lack of water.

According to them, despite the fact that the village has a drinking water well, the relevant institutions refuse to provide funds for its preparation for use.

For this reason, thousands of residents have to buy and bring drinking water from other distant regions.

It should be noted that Yedulla Sultani, the head of the Khoy region's Water and Sewerage Department, stated a few days ago that 62 villages in the region are currently experiencing a water crisis.

Sultani stated that 100 kilometers of existing water pipelines in the Khoy region are outdated, causing increasing problems with the population's water supply.
