Molavi Abdulhamid, imam of the community of Zahidan city, criticized that the officials who ordered and committed “Bloody Friday of Zahidan” massacre were not brought to justice.
He said on his personal accounts on social media that the court proceedings were held, but the main SEPAH and "Basic" officers who committed the crimes were not involved in the trial.
"After several years of waiting, the trial was held only with a certain number of ordinary police officers. However, those who ordered and executed these crimes were never held accountable," Molavi emphasized.
The official media of the Iranian authorities have not yet released any information about the court process and details.
It should be noted that some time after the police commander of Sistan and Baluchestan Province raped a minor Baluch girl, a protest action was started in the city of Zahidan during Friday prayers.
More than 100 people were killed by SEPAH and Basij officers who opened fire on the protesters. Since then, this event has been known as "Zahida's Bloody Friday" massacre.
