The trial took place in Tehran's Fifth Investigation Department of the Evin Prison Prosecutor's Office, where the activist was charged with "collusion and gathering with the intention of violating national security."

During the trial, Said Minayi was given five minutes to present his final defense against the self-proclaimed accusation.

However, Article 168 of Iran's constitutional law requires that those accused of political motives face an open trial with a jury.

In addition, the accused should be given enough time to defend themselves and the right to have a defense lawyer present.

However, none of these rights were respected and the trial was not fair.

Minayi is a resident of Binev (now Binab) and was detained in February 2024.

On March 13, the same year, he was temporarily released pending the conclusion of the case's investigation, which was initiated by placing a property deed worth 700 million Iranian tomans as a guarantee.
