The leader of the Houthis claimed that he would spread attacks on ships in the Red Sea to Indian Ocean and Cape of Good Hope, South Africa.

On March 14, Abdul Malik al-Houthi said that 34 members of this group were killed as a result of the attacks of coalition forces during his speech on the television channel belonging to the Houthis.

"We will make our operational arena large-scale to attack ships related to Israel. We will prevent the movement of ships passing through the Indian Ocean and the Cape of Good Hope," said al-Houthi.

Abdul Malik al-Houthi’s claim coincides with the news that the group successfully tested an ultrasonic (hypersonic) missile.

However, military experts are skeptical to this claim, saying that the technology required for production of this type missile is very complex and requires major funding.
