On March 26, the US Department of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") declared that sanctions had been imposed on six businesses, two oil tankers, and one currency exchange company.

Several of the companies are headquartered in India, Liberia, Vietnam, Lebanon, and Kuwait, while others are registered in those countries.

These organizations and companies have been accused of working with the IRGC, Houthis, and Hezbollah.

According to reports, the sanctions list includes 11 individuals and institutions that provide financial support to Bashar al-Assad's regime.
