France is seriously concerned about the conditions for signing a peace agreement with Armenia. The war between Russia and Ukraine, as well as other violent conflicts, are part of the current geopolitical landscape.
This was stated by the State Security Service chief, Ali Naghiyev, in an interview with the official newspaper.
According to him, these conflicts seriously affect the global order and make operating conditions more difficult:
"Naturally, the processes occurring in the global community also affect our nation, and it is no secret that Azerbaijan's stability and security are still under threat today. The increasing global influence of our country, coupled with its steady gains in the political, economic, and military domains, and the favorable circumstances that led to the signing of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, appear to have alarmed several Western nations whose primary goal is not regional peace and stability, as well as the groups operating under the disguise of "observation missions" along the border between the two countries. Of particular concern is France, which accepted responsibility for mediating the Karabakh conflict but, in reality, adopted a unilateral stance, patronizing Armenia for a considerable amount of time and offering extensive assistance to it."
