The economic crisis has reportedly led to millennials starting to sell their organs, according to information circulating in Iranian media.
According to reports, the kidney and bone marrow are the most popular organs. The majority of advertisements are about buying kidneys. So, by selling kidneys, millennials can get the money they need more quickly.
Because age and physical condition have an impact on price, kidney sellers disclose these details in their advertisements. A kidney costs roughly between 300 and 600 million tomans.
The purpose of organ sales is to be able to buy a car, rent a house, or buy an apartment.
To pay his annual rent, for instance, a twenty-year-old man named Saeed told a local newspaper that he would like to sell his kidney for 350 million Iranian tomans.
