Baha'is, Iran's largest non-Muslim minority, face systematic persecution in Iran. Their beliefs are not recognized by the Iranian constitution.

Human Rights Watch reported that the Iranian regime raided Baha'i homes, arrested dozens of Baha'i citizens and community leaders, and seized Baha'i property.

"Iranian authorities have deliberately and seriously deprived Baha'is of their fundamental rights. The authorities deny Baha'is their right to religious freedom and political representation. Iranian regime officials have been arbitrarily arresting and prosecuting members of the Baha'i community. The authorities regularly trample on the rights of Baha'is to education, work, property, and dignified burial. It is very important to increase international pressure on Iran to end this crime against humanity," as emphasized in the latest report of the "Human Rights Watch" organization.
