Fired workers and officials clashed in Ahvaz

In Ahvaz, Khuzestan province, there was a confrontation between fired workers and officials of the "Iran National Steel Industrial Group," one of Iran's most important industrial centers.

They said that dozens of workers who went to work this morning were told that they were fired and were prevented from entering the company.

Several people were injured as a result of the use of force by the government forces, which were called to remove the protesting workers.

A group of workers who were beaten and fired from their jobs are staging a sit-in in front of the company and its factory, demanding that company officials clarify the situation.

It should be mentioned that the people who lost their jobs were the ones who had previously gone on strike to express their displeasure over unpaid wages and legal rights violations.
