Anna Grigoryan, a member of the Armenian Parliament's National Security Commission, stated this in an interview with "IRNA," the Iranian regime's official news agency, on Monday.

"Armenia is at war... I believe that, combined with Iran's numerous statements regarding the protection of Armenia's territorial integrity, relations between the two countries can improve significantly."

The Armenian deputy stated that, despite Iran's strong statements supporting Armenia's territorial integrity, the two countries do not currently have a concrete military agreement. This situation must change.

The Iranian journalist also asked the Armenian MP about the latest news regarding the Armenian government's handover of several villages to Azerbaijan. In response to this question, Grigoryan stated that this move is unacceptable because Azerbaijan previously "occupied" several territories in the region following the 2020 war.

He warned that handing over these villages would result in Azerbaijan gaining control of the Armenia-Georgia highway and the Russian gas pipeline to Armenia.

The Iranian regime's official news agency continued its insidious policy toward Azerbaijan, claiming that the war between the two countries in 2020 resulted in the deaths of thousands of people and the intervention of global powers, including the United States.

Grigoryan was also concerned about the role of international observers in Armenia, citing Iran's experience with international inspectors informing foreign intelligence services about its nuclear program.
