The "Islahat News" social media channel, which was popular in Iran and criticized presidential candidate Saeed Jalili while also disseminating Masoud Pezeshkian's speeches, has been closed.
Ali Ahmadnia, the administrator of the channel, also known for its close ties to the reformist political trend, provided information on this.
He claimed that the channel he was in charge of had been closed without notice or explanation.
Ahmadnia stated that he applied to the court regarding this matter, but has yet to receive a response.
"Some institutions funded by the country's budget will go to any length to make their candidate president during the election," said the manager of "Islahat News."
Without naming names, he claimed that state institutions acted illegally in order to elect Saeed Jalili as president.
