Retired employees of the Ministry of Communications held another protest in the cities of Urmia and Tabriz in South Azerbaijan.
On June 1, pensioners protested against not receiving their full pension, not receiving their payments on time, and not having other legal rights upheld by gathering in front of the Ministry of Communications' local offices.
According to information, pensioners chanted slogans demanding government officials consider their applications: The protesters, holding posters with their demands, claimed that the Ministry of Communications supports the shareholders of communications companies while turning a blind eye to violations of workers' and pensioners' rights.
It should be noted that, despite the fact that pensioners from the Ministry of Communications have been protesting with the same demands for several years, their issues have not been resolved until today.
